Hello

My name’s Vic Black and I’m a horticulturalist. In another life, I used to be a journalist and worked on women’s magazines creating glossy pages of fashion and beauty.

Looking for new career adventure I retrained at Enfield’s prestigious Capel Manor where I gained a Distinction* in my Level 3 Technical Horticulture course. Now, if you live anywhere near Palmer’s Green in North London,
you may well spot me biking around the area as I visit my clients either to design a new garden, make an existing one more beautiful or just help a client maintain what we’ve created together.

I’m also very proud of my work as the gardener in Enfield’s 50-acre Broomfield Park where, joined by the most amazing brigade of volunteers,
I have worked to restore its ornamental borders. And though if you visit the walled gardens now you will walk down its 200m Long Border and marvel
at the glorious selection of herbaceous plants the work goes on, with new plants being added every season. We are proud to say that to reward all
of our hard work, we have received a Gold award from Enfield in Bloom.

Please do get in touch if you would like me to help reimagine your garden. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Vic
